What it’s like

Hosted slime and craft birthday parties in Sheffield, from classic slime making to adopt-an-animal plush sessions.

Kids mix their own slime here, choosing colours, glitter and mix-ins, or design bracelets as part of a themed party. The themed slots go big on worlds like unicorn, mermaid or Minecraft, and there's an adopt-an-animal option where the children pick a plush animal and design accessories for it. It's a hosted set-up, so grown-ups get to stand back with a coffee while the team runs the activities.

Prices start at £23 a head for a classic slime party, £25 for a themed one, and £28 for adopt-an-animal, with the same rate for each extra child. Food add-ons run from £3 for mini snacks up to £7 for a teddy bears picnic. It's not the cheapest party format going, but it's booked, staffed and cleaned up for you, which for a slime party is worth quite a lot.

You'll need at least 8 children to book, and payment is taken in full up front, non-refundable once you've got a space for up to 10. Bring your own cake if you like, but it has to be wrapped and taken home in party bags rather than eaten on site. Book for 10 or more and you get free pizza, garlic bread, filled party bags and glitter tattoos thrown in, which nudges the maths back in your favour.

Expect glitter and slime on clothes by the end, so send the birthday child in something that can take it. Opening hours vary a lot by day, with longer Saturday and Sunday slots and shorter evening windows midweek, and there's free parking close by on Hale Street and the side roads.
