What it’s like

Turkish grill spot open daily for kebabs, pizza and moussaka, with veggie options on the menu too.

This is a straightforward Turkish grill and bar, open every day from midday until 11pm, so it's one of the few places you can rock up for a late lunch or a proper evening meal without worrying about odd closing times. The menu covers the usual grill favourites like kebabs alongside pizza and moussaka, and there are vegetarian dishes listed too, which is handy if your table doesn't all agree on meat.

They ask that you book ahead, and you can call any time between midday and 10pm to sort a table. That's a bit of a faff if you're the sort who likes to just turn up, but it does mean you're not stood waiting with a hungry table while a slot clears.

One thing worth flagging if you've got a coeliac or wheat allergy in the family: the kitchen isn't set up as gluten-free and they're upfront that there's a risk of cross-contamination since wheat products are handled throughout. Worth bearing in mind before you commit the whole table to going.
