What it’s like
Baby-and-parent and family yoga classes, plus pregnancy sessions, with an on-demand option for £9.99 a month.
This is a small yoga setup built around the stages of having a baby, from a pregnancy class you can join after your 12 week scan, through Parent & Baby Yoga with rhymes and guided movement, up to Rainbow Kids & Families Yoga once they're older. Postnatal classes start at 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8 to 10 weeks after a caesarean, and the site is clear that dads, grandparents and adoptive parents are just as welcome to bring baby along.
Parent & Baby sessions don't expect a quiet baby. If yours cries, needs fed or needs changed mid-class, the teacher adapts around it rather than expecting you to sit it out in the corridor, which is one less thing to stress about on your first outing with a newborn. Bring milk, nappies and a muslin for baby to lie on, plus comfy clothes and water for yourself. Mats are provided if you don't have one.
Booking runs in blocks rather than drop-in, though you can book a trial first before committing, and shorter blocks are available if you're due sooner than the standard 8 weeks. Miss a class you didn't warn them about and you're charged for it regardless, so it pays to flag your holiday dates when you book. If classes don't fit your week, there's Yoga On Demand for £9.99 a month, and a one-off Yoga Retreat Day at £140 if you fancy a full day of it instead.

Do I need to have done yoga before?
No experience needed, the classes are built to be accessible to complete beginners.
Can I try a class before booking a block?
You can book a trial first rather than committing straight away.
What happens if my baby cries during Parent & Baby Yoga?
The teacher works around it and gives variations depending on how many babies need holding, so don't worry about it.
When can I start pregnancy yoga, and when after birth?
Pregnancy yoga is fine once you've had your 12 week scan, right up until baby arrives. Postnatally, it's usually 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 8 to 10 weeks after a caesarean.
What should I bring?
Comfy clothes and water for you always. For Parent & Baby Yoga, add milk, nappies, toys and a small blanket or muslin for baby to lie on.
Is there an option if I can't make classes in person?
Yoga On Demand runs at £9.99 a month if a fixed class time doesn't work for you.
