What it’s like
A soft play built round loose parts and open-ended play with natural and reused materials, aimed squarely at under-sixes.
This isn't the usual soft play with a slide and a ball pit in the corner. The whole set-up is built around open-ended play with natural, reused, recycled and repurposed bits and pieces, so your four-year-old is stacking, sorting and inventing games rather than just queueing for a slide. It's a different kind of tired out by the end, less bouncing off walls, more busy hands.
It's designed with under-sixes in mind. Older siblings are welcome to tag along, but the site is upfront that it's built for the younger ones, so a ten-year-old might get bored fast while a toddler potters happily for an hour.
There's a café on site doing hot and cold food, cakes, bakes and local produce, with vegan and vegetarian options covered too, so you're not stuck eating a soggy sandwich from the car. Birthday parties get exclusive use of the space for two hours (10-12, 1-3 or 2-4), which at £145 plus an £80 deposit isn't pocket change, but you do get the whole place to yourselves rather than sharing with random other kids' meltdowns. A bouncy castle is £45 extra if you want the full works.
