What it’s like

Structured gymnastics classes for babies through to age 12, working on flexibility, strength, balance and coordination.

This is a gymnastics setup rather than a soft play or free-for-all, so the classes are built around actual skills: flexibility, strength, balance and coordination, taught in an age-appropriate way from babies up to 12 year olds. If your child is the sort who's already doing cartwheels across the living room, this gives that energy somewhere proper to go.

The age range is wide, nought to twelve, which means a toddler class and a pre-teen class are going to look very different on the mat. Worth thinking about which end of that range your child sits at, since a class built for a bouncing baby won't hold a confident nine-year-old's attention for long.

Birthday parties are the other big offer here, run by instructors and built around games, activities and actual gymnastic skills rather than just a bit of soft play and cake. There are two packages: a 1.5 hour party at £295 for members or £305 for non-members, and a shorter 1 hour version at £205 members or £225 non-members. Both take a decent-sized group, somewhere between 15 and 24 guests, so it works for a proper class invite rather than just a handful of close friends.

  • Membership gets you a cheaper party rate on both packages
  • The 1 hour party is the budget option if £295 feels steep
