What it’s like
Seven high-tech game show challenges booked as a private room for your group, with pizza and a bar on hand, best for 12s and up.
Seven mini games straight out of a Saturday night telly line-up: Buzzer Beater against the clock, Plink Plonk (climb the stairs, drop your chip, hope for the best), the Winner's Wheel, a steadiness test called Trolley Dash, and a few rounds of Higher or Lower and Say What You See thrown in. You book a time slot and the room is yours, no strangers added in to fill the numbers even if your group is small.
It's built for 12 and over rather than young children, so this is one for a family with older kids, a mixed group of mates, or a work do that fancies something sharper than a quiz night. £17 a head is the standard rate, £14 for students and under-18s, and if you can get there on a Wednesday there's a £6 student rate that makes it a proper bargain. Games are designed for five players at a time, so bigger groups need to book consecutive slots and split up.
Budget an hour to ninety minutes to get through all seven games, more if you linger over the pizzas and the bar. It's a fully licensed spot with beer, wine and cocktails alongside soft drinks, which is a fair hint this isn't purely a kids' activity even with the 12+ age floor. One to flag: after 9pm the venue switches to adults-only, so if you've got teenagers in tow you'll want an earlier slot rather than getting turned away mid-evening.
Crown Street Car Park is the nearest option if you're driving, and booking ahead is how everyone gets in, this isn't a turn-up-and-play kind of place.

Do we need to book?
Yes, and you book a specific time slot. Groups of more than five need to book consecutive slots and split across them.
