What it’s like
Hands-on cooking sessions where kids from 2 to 12 whisk, chop and roll their way through pizzas, cupcakes and other dishes.
Cracking eggs, weighing flour, rolling out pizza dough and piping icing onto cupcakes: this is proper hands-on cooking rather than a demo you watch from the back. The classes are split by age, so preschoolers get a gentler hour, after-schoolers get their own slot, and Junior Foodies (the older end, up to 12) get a longer 2 to 3 hour session where they're following full recipes, measuring ingredients and doing the actual cooking themselves.
Prices start at £8 for the shorter sessions and go up to £25 for the full Junior classes, which feels fair for what's essentially a cookery lesson rather than a soft play hour. Weekend and holiday classes run 90 minutes, which is about the right stretch for a child who wants to see a finished pizza at the end without losing interest halfway through. Everything has to be booked online in advance, and it's worth knowing the classes are non-refundable once booked, so a firm date is best rather than a maybe.
Allergies and dietary requirements are handled by adding them to the booking notes, and they'll either swap ingredients or ask you to bring an alternative, which is a sensible way to do it without slowing the whole class down. If it's a birthday you're planning, parties start from £195 for up to 12 children aged 3 and up, with pizza-making or cupcake decorating as the obvious themes, or a bespoke recipe if you fancy something different. They also do school visits, so if your child's class hasn't cooked yet this term, this might be how it happens.
