What it’s like
Tech-tracked darts with slo-mo replays on the TV, and a window before 5pm when 12-plus can actually play.
This is darts with a screen doing the maths for you, and a camera that replays your best (or worst) throw in slow motion. Social Darts is the game, it's £10 a head, and the rules for whatever variant you're playing get explained on a TV above the board, so nobody needs to have thrown a dart in their life before.
The catch for families is the clock. Anyone 12 and up can play Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm with an adult alongside, and there are Family Sessions on the oches for that window. After 5pm it switches to strict 18+, and Saturday is adults-only all day, so this is a weekday afternoon plan, not a weekend one. Under-12s can come along and sit with the grown-ups but they don't get to throw.
Food runs from 11:30am to 10pm, pizza and sharing plates mostly, with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options, and you can order straight from your oche so nobody has to stop playing to eat. There's a lunch offer on weekdays until 3pm. Bookings need a minimum group size once you get past 4pm on weekdays (four people) or Saturday and late week (six), and they want 48 hours notice if you're cancelling or you lose the money, which is a faff if plans change last minute.
Birthday parties are welcome and you can flag any special treat when you book. Balloons are fine as long as they're kept away from the dartboard, but banners can't go on the walls, so bring something freestanding if decorating matters to you.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
Social Darts is £10 a person. Food and drink are extra, with a lunch offer on weekdays until 3pm.
Do we need to book?
Walk-ins are fine for food and drink, but booking is recommended if you want a table for darts, especially at peak times. Weekday afternoons from 4pm need a group of at least four, rising to six on Wednesday to Friday and all day Saturday.
Can kids actually play?
Yes, 12 and up can play Social Darts Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm with an adult playing alongside them. Under-12s can sit and watch but aren't allowed to throw.
Is it open in the evenings for a family visit?
Not really. It goes strictly 18+ from 5pm Sunday to Friday, and Saturday is adults-only all day.
What if we need to cancel?
They want 48 hours notice or you lose the booking fee. The same 48-hour window applies if your group size shrinks and you want money back.
Can we eat while we play?
Pizza and sharing plates are designed for eating at the oche, and you can order without leaving the game. Food runs from 11:30am to 10pm.
Can we book a birthday party?
Birthday parties are welcome and you can add a note for a special treat when booking. Balloons are allowed away from the board, though banners can't go on the walls.
