Easton Community Centre
WHERE
Bristol
What it’s like
Stay & Play sessions for babies and toddlers, plus classes and youth nights, at a community centre with its own cafe.
Stay & Play is the one to know about if you've got a baby or toddler: drop-in sessions where they can crawl about, explore and mix with other small people while you get a sit down. Beyond that, the centre runs classes covering fitness, learning and creative play, so it's not just a baby-and-toddler spot. Older kids get their own thing too, with youth sessions called Wavey Nights.
Ababo's Cuisine Cafe is on site, which is handy if a Stay & Play session overruns nap time and you need a coffee before the walk home.
One thing to flag: the centre and the cafe are closed for renovations from 14th September to 25th October, reopening on the 26th. If you're planning a visit in that window, you'll want to pick another week. Felix Road Adventure Playground nearby follows its own separate reopening on 13th September, so don't get the two dates muddled up.
