What it’s like
Bouncy castles, a Gladiator Dual and Nerf Target Shootout turn up at your venue, with a DJ and mascots thrown in for parties.
This is a hire and entertainment outfit rather than a venue you turn up to. They deliver and set up bouncy castles, soft play and bigger inflatable extras like the Gladiator Dual or a Nerf Target Shootout wherever you're holding the party, and they'll bring a DJ, a character mascot and face painting on top if you want the full package.
Prices for the extras give you a sense of scale: Didi Cars come in at £65, Nerf Target Shootout at £105, Gladiator Dual at £145, and Sumo Wrestling Suits at £155, so a party with a couple of these on top of a bouncy castle stops being a small booking pretty fast. There's a separate Come N Bounce Christmas session listed too, at £8.50 a child (£7 under 2), which reads like a different kind of event to the party hire.
The catches are worth knowing before you sign anything. The booking fee that secures your date is non-refundable, cancelling a children's bouncy castle needs at least two weeks notice or you're on the hook for the full amount, and no food or drink is allowed anywhere near the inflatables. Adults aren't allowed on them either, so this is one for the kids to bounce and the grown-ups to supervise from the sidelines. Flat grass is what they want to set up on; gravel and chippings are out.
For indoor parties they'll weight the castle down with sandbags instead of pegging it, so a garden isn't essential if the space inside is big enough. They say you can hire more than one castle at once if you've got the room, which is worth thinking about if you're mixing ages at the party.

Do we need to pay a deposit?
A securing fee is needed to lock in your booking date and it's non-refundable.
What happens if we need to cancel?
For children's bouncy castles they want at least two weeks notice. Cancel later than that and you're charged the full amount.
Do they deliver and set up?
That's part of the service, they bring the equipment and set it up on site.
Can the castle go up indoors?
It can, they just switch from ground pegs to sandbags to weight it down.
What surface does it need?
Flat grass works best. They avoid loose gravel and chippings.
Can adults join in on the inflatables?
No, adults aren't permitted on the inflatables for safety. Food and drink are kept away from them too.
