What it’s like
Full day or half day paintball battles across the site, with a splatmaster version for 8 to 10 year olds who aren't ready for the real thing yet.
This is paintball proper, not the soft play version. Eight is the age floor, and under-elevens play splatmaster, a gentler paintball built for smaller hands and softer hits. From eight up, kids can join the full sessions alongside adults, so a mixed group of a twelve-year-old and their older cousins can genuinely play together rather than being split off.
Packages run from £30 for a basic half day up to £70 for the hardcore full day option, and that's before you factor in extra paint if you get carried away. Sessions run daily 9am to 4pm, with evening slots added from May to September, so there's a bit more flexibility in summer if a morning doesn't suit. Booking's required, not just recommended, and you'll need to put down a £10 deposit to hold your slot, which doesn't come back if you change your mind.
The bit that catches people out is the waiver. Everyone playing needs one filled in and brought along. Parties are on offer too, with an invite you download and a phone call to lock in the date, which feels a bit old school but works fine once you've done it.

Plan your visit
What age can kids start playing?
Eight, and they'll be on splatmaster guns rather than the full paintball markers. From what they list, that's built for the 8 to 10 age bracket specifically.
How much does it cost?
Half day basic starts at £30, full day hardcore tops out at £70. There's a middle intermediate option at £40 for either half or full day.
Do we need to book ahead?
Booking's required, and you'll need a £10 deposit to confirm it. That deposit doesn't come back if plans change.
What's this waiver thing about?
Everyone playing needs a waiver filled in and brought with them on the day. Sort it before you turn up so you're not doing paperwork at the gate.
Can you do birthday parties here?
Yes, there's a party option. You download the invite and give them a call to book it in.
What are the opening hours?
9am to 4pm daily except Christmas, with extra evening sessions from 5pm to 9pm running May through September.
