What it’s like
Full-length bowling lanes, batting cages and AR darts under one roof, with a kitchen serving burgers until late.
The bowling's the obvious starting point, proper full-length Brunswick lanes rather than the shrunk-down sort, but it's not the only thing going on. Downstairs there's Batfast batting cages and AR darts, and if your lot get bored of any one thing there's air hockey, NBA hoops and a run of retro pinball machines to wander over to instead.
It's split across two floors and they run on different clocks. The ground floor with the batting cages and darts is open every day until midnight, while the first floor bowling, bar and arcades stretch out to 2am Sunday to Thursday and 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. None of that matters much for a family visit, since under 18s have to be off the premises by 8pm midweek and 6pm at weekends, and need a responsible adult with them the whole time they're in. It does mean an evening booking with kids in tow needs a bit of planning around that cutoff.
The kitchen does bar snacks, burgers and hot dogs, running Sunday to Thursday 12pm to 9pm and Friday and Saturday 12pm to 10pm, so if you're aiming for food make sure you're in before the pass shuts rather than after. Adults get cocktails and mocktails alongside the beer and wine, which suggests this leans as much towards a grown-up night out with kids fitted round it as a straightforward kids' venue.
