Bowling in Glasgow
Ten pin isn't the only game in town. Bowlarama sits close to the centre with full-length lanes, batting cages and AR darts, plus a kitchen doing burgers until late. A drive out to Motherwell gets you Cosmic Bowl, glow in the dark bowling from £4 with air hockey and American pool for the waits between frames. Tenpin Clydebank has eighteen lanes with bumpers and laser tag on the side. If you're on a budget, Cosmic Bowl's prices from £4 undercut Tenpin's from £5.50, and both do birthday parties and food on site. Both set their minimum age at 4, so for a toddler you're better off at Titwood Bowling Club, a traditional lawn bowling green close to the centre with no age limit and a beer garden for adults to watch from while the kids have a gentle go. It's outdoor and unhurried, a good contrast to the arcade noise of the indoor alleys.
