What it’s like
Pig racing twice a day, a woodland pony ride and two play barns to fall back on if the sky turns.
The animals do most of the work here. You're walking past paddocks of Swedish fallow deer, sheep and goats, then into small animal encounter sessions five times a day, plus pig racing at 12:45 and 3:45 that the kids will still be talking about in the car home. There's a woodland pony ride for the under-12s (£3 on top, weight limit 45kg), tractor and trailer rides out across the farm with a view of the Surrey Hills, and if you time it right you'll catch lambing season with piglets and chicks about the place too.
Entry isn't cheap. £21.50 for a child aged 3 to 17 and £19.50 for an adult adds up fast for a family of four, though one-year-olds get in for £7.50 and there's a saving to be had if you buy a 5-visit pass and keep coming back. Booking online is strongly recommended, especially for peak days, since walk-up tickets are only sold subject to availability and there's a £1 fee either way, so it's not really the spontaneous farm trip it sounds like.
Under-16s need an adult with them throughout, which is standard for this kind of place but worth knowing if you were hoping to send an older one off with younger siblings. Wet weather isn't the disaster it could be, with two play barns, the Small Animal Village and the Animal Discovery Barn all undercover, though some of the outdoor paths are grassy and slope, so buggy wheels will get a workout after rain.
Food covers a fair spread, from the Old Barn Tearooms to Italian pizzas at the Greedy Goat, though the grab-and-go Snack Shack only opens weekends and school holidays. Parking's free with disabled bays close to the entrance, and there's free wheelchair hire if you call ahead. Most families seem to treat this as a half day out rather than a quick stop, given the animal sessions are spaced across the whole afternoon.

How much does it cost?
£21.50 for a child aged 3 to 17, £19.50 for an adult, and just £7.50 for a one-year-old. A 5-visit pass saves at least 20% if you're likely to come back.
Do we need to book in advance?
Booking online is strongly recommended, particularly on peak days, and tickets can sell out. You can buy on arrival but only if there's availability.
What are the opening hours?
10am to 5pm, seven days a week, all year round. It's closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Is it any good for a toddler?
Entry starts from age 1, and there are small animal encounter sessions running most of the day plus soft play and jumping pillows indoors.
What happens if it's raining?
There are two play barns, the Small Animal Village and the Animal Discovery Barn all undercover, so a wet day doesn't kill the visit. Some outdoor paths do get muddy and sloped though.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking on site with disabled bays close to the entrance.
Can we bring the dog?
Dogs aren't allowed in the farm park itself, only in the outdoor area of the Tearooms if supervised. Assistance dogs with a valid Access Card are welcome throughout.
What food is available?
The Old Barn Tearooms and Cow Shed Coffee Shop do the main meals, plus Italian pizzas at the Greedy Goat and award-winning ice cream. The grab-and-go Snack Shack only opens weekends and school holidays.
Can under-16s come without a parent?
All under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over throughout the visit.
Do you do birthday parties?
From £30 per child for ages 3 to 17, including a private Small Animal Encounters session, with a minimum of 10 children. After-school parties midweek start from £18.
Can we feed the animals?
Bags of feed are sold online and on arrival, and you can feed most animals, though not the horses, pigs or donkeys.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Most of the park is accessible with wide undercover areas in the main barns, plus accessible toilets and tractor rides. Free wheelchair hire is available if you call ahead to reserve one.
