Beckenham Fliers Trampolining Club

What it’s like
A trampolining club where kids can try a free session before deciding if the sport's for them.
This one's about the sport rather than a big warehouse of trampolines to bounce about on for an hour. Kids come here to actually learn trampolining, and if they take to it there's a route into the competitive team, with fixtures at regional, national and even international level. That's a different proposition to your average trampoline park session, and worth knowing before you turn up expecting the foam pit and dodgeball setup.
The free trial session is the obvious way in. Rather than committing to anything, your child gets a go first and you both find out whether it clicks. From what they list, this seems aimed at kids who might stick with it rather than a one-off birthday treat, so if you're after a quick bounce and out, this probably isn't it.
For a kid who takes to the discipline of it, the pull is the competition side. Watching your child go from a first free session to actually competing is the kind of progression a lot of parents will want for their children, even if it asks more commitment than a casual play centre visit.
