What it’s like
Indoor go-karting with timed 15-minute races for kids from age 8, up to full F1-style race formats for adults.
This is proper indoor go-karting, not the pedal-kart version. Cadet Karts start at age 8, but there's a catch worth knowing before you promise a keen eight-year-old a race day: they need to be at least 125cm tall to get in the kart. Adult Karts are 14+ and need 150cm, so a shortish teenager might still be stuck in the cadet category, which honestly is probably the more forgiving place to learn anyway.
Races run in 15-minute blocks. The beginner sessions give you two of these with a breather in between, and you can add an instructor if it's someone's first time round the track. For families with kids aged 8 to 13 there are dedicated sessions built around that two-race format, which feels about right, long enough to get properly competitive without wearing anyone out. Adults get more options, including F1-style formats with qualifying laps before the race itself, which is the bit to save for a birthday or a stag do rather than a quick Tuesday visit.
There's a 115kg maximum driver weight to be aware of, which applies across the board. Parties, corporate events and group bookings are all handled here too, with dedicated party rooms, so it works as a genuine birthday venue rather than just a track that tolerates parties.

How old do kids need to be to race?
Cadet Karts are for age 8 and up, and Adult Karts start at 14. There's a height rule alongside the age one, so check both before you book.
Is there a height limit?
125cm minimum for the Cadet Karts, 150cm minimum for the Adult Karts. Worth measuring a borderline eight-year-old before you turn up.
How long do the races last?
Each race is 15 minutes. Beginner and family sessions give you two races with a break between them.
Can we book a birthday party?
Yes, they run children's parties, family events and group bookings, with party rooms on site.
Do you need an instructor for a first go?
You can add one to a beginner session if it's someone's first time on the track. Those sessions are built for kids and adults new to karting.
