What it’s like

A West End stage with tickets from £20, a proper night out for kids who love a big show.

This is a working West End theatre, so the pull is whatever's on stage rather than anything hands-on. Tickets start from £20, with some seats going for £25, and where you sit in the building matters more than most places let on. There's a stair lift up to the Stalls, but the Dress Circle, Grand Circle and Balcony are reached by stairs only, 12, 41 and 80 of them respectively, so it's worth thinking about that before you pick seats for a family with buggies or little legs.

Booking here comes with a bit of admin. They want you to check in online 72 hours before the show to confirm you're coming, and if you've gone for e-tickets or print-at-home they land in your inbox after that check-in, not before. If you'd rather collect on the day, or you haven't got a smart device, the box office is open on performance days and will sort you out there.

Plans change, and if you can't make your date the theatre says its team will help rearrange things, as long as you get the exchange request in at least 48 hours ahead. Leave it later than that and you're relying on turning up at the box office instead.

Wheelchair users get two dedicated spaces, Q1 and Q22, and there's an adapted unisex toilet in the Stalls. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout, and if you've got a dog that isn't working, there's a dog sitting service for up to two dogs if you book it in advance.

  • Box office opens from 10am on performance days and runs through to the evening show.
  • Collecting tickets in person means a trip to the box office on the day itself.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome, and there's a dog sitting service for two dogs with advance booking.
  • Seats above the Stalls mean stairs, sometimes a lot of them, so factor that in when booking.
