What it’s like
Outdoor airsoft skirmishes for ages 11 and up, plus a junior version for 8 to 11 year olds, in woodland kit and gear.
This is proper woodland airsoft, not the indoor arena stuff. Rental sessions and skirmishes are for 11 and up, with a junior session carved out for 8 to 11 year olds who want in on the action without going up against adults twice their size. Everyone gets a realistic imitation firearm, eye and face protection, and biodegradable BBs, with juniors getting a full magazine for each of their three games.
The gear-up rules are strict and there's no wriggling out of them. Long sleeves and full length trousers are compulsory for anyone under 18, and they want sensible footwear too, so trainers are fine but sandals are asking for trouble. Anyone under 15 needs an adult on site, though that adult doesn't have to play themselves, just be around.
A visit runs anywhere from 3 to 7.5 hours depending on which activity you pick, which is a serious chunk of a day, so plan around it rather than squeezing it into an afternoon. Rental and junior sessions need a minimum of 10 players before they'll open, though once a session is running individuals and smaller groups can join in. There's tea, coffee, soft drinks and light snacks on site all day, but this isn't a place to bring a picnic and dogs aren't allowed at all.
For younger kids the junior airsoft is the obvious route in, and at £32.50 it's the same price as the adult skirmish. The Joint Ops option, which pairs a skirmish with a rental, comes in cheaper at £20 and might suit a mixed group who want to try both.

Prices start at £20 for Joint Ops, with skirmish and junior airsoft both at £32.50 and rental at £35. Extra BBs on a rental session are £6 per 1,000.

Yes, booking is required. Rental and junior sessions also need 10 players before they open, though you can join a session once it's up and running.
