Ice Rinks in Nottingham

Two options here and both sit right in the middle of Nottingham. Old Market Square turns into Nottingham Winter Wonderland for the season, and getting in is free, so you can wander past the market stalls and Observation Wheel before deciding whether to pay for the skate itself or the Sky Skate. Prefer somewhere under cover, the National Ice Centre runs public sessions from £6, with a Tots Zone for under-5s and penguin aids to hold onto for wobbly first goes, plus a café if you need a warm-up. For toddlers, the National Ice Centre is the safer bet, being indoors and set up with under-5s in mind. For older kids and anyone after an outdoor, festive feel, Winter Wonderland is worth building an afternoon around, just budget for the paid rides and skating on top of the free entry. Card only at Winter Wonderland, and booking ahead is required at the Ice Centre, so sort that before you turn up.
