Comedy in Nottingham

Comedy nights in Nottingham tend to mean two very different rooms. Metronome, right in the centre, is a proper live events space with retractable seating, so it can host bigger comedy bills alongside gigs. Payment there is card only, and ages depend on what is on, so check the specific show. MissImp is the other regular fixture, an improv comedy theatre with workshops as well as shows. If you want structure and a seated night out, Metronome is the safer bet, though remember to bring a card rather than cash. If you fancy something looser and unscripted, MissImp is the one, but it is 18+, so this is a night for the adults rather than a family outing, and tickets are sold on the door rather than booked ahead. Both are close to the centre, so no long trip either way.
