Roller & Skate Rinks in Newcastle

If your kids are into wheels rather than laces, the option here is Override Indoor Skatepark out in Jarrow. It's ramps rather than a flat rink, built for scooters, skateboards and BMX under one roof, with sessions from £9.60 and hire kit on site if nobody owns their own gear yet. There's no minimum age, so it suits total beginners as well as kids who already know their way round a halfpipe, and lessons are available if you'd rather someone else did the teaching. Booking ahead is required rather than turning up on spec, and with party rooms on site it works well for a birthday that needs somewhere dry and padded. Being indoors, it's a solid pick regardless of the weather outside.
