Skate Parks & BMX Tracks in Cardiff

If your kids are into wheels rather than balls, Cardiff BMX Racing Club is the one to know. It's out at the edge of the city, about five kilometres from the centre, and you don't need your own bike or kit to give it a go, you can borrow gear on the day. Races run in heats of eight, so there's a proper bit of competition to it rather than just riding round in circles. There's only one track listed here, so the choice is really about whether racing in heats appeals more than a free-for-all skatepark session. It suits older kids who fancy some structure and a bit of nerve, and parking and food on site make it an easy half day out without much planning.
