Cinemas in Brighton
Brighton has two proper cinemas right in the centre, both an easy walk from each other. Duke of York's Picturehouse sits about a kilometre out, an old-fashioned picture house with a bar for a drink before the film and a sensory-friendly setup for anyone who needs a calmer screening. Dukes at Komedia Picturehouse is right in the middle of town, two screens, £3 tickets for children and food on site if you want to make an evening of it. For toddlers, Komedia is the one to know about: there's a Thursday baby session and a Tuesday toddler club alongside the £3 child tickets, and tickets are open from age one. Duke of York's doesn't list an age range, so it suits a quieter watch or anyone who wants the sensory-friendly option rather than a toddler crowd. Both are indoor, wheelchair accessible and happy to have dogs in. If cost matters, Komedia's £3 tickets are hard to beat.
