Splash Parks & Paddling Pools in York

If you're after a splash park right in York, this category is thin on the ground. The one option on our list is a drive out to Tadcaster, where the Community Swimming Pool runs baby lessons from three months old, toddler sessions and Saturday birthday parties, with toilets on site. Entry starts from £1.50, which is hard to grumble about. It suits toddlers best, given the baby and toddler sessions, though the pool welcomes all ages. There's no under-5s splash pad or outdoor paddling pool listed here, just this proper indoor public pool. Bring float aids if your child needs them, and book ahead for the Saturday parties as slots fill up.
