Libraries in Stoke-on-Trent

If you're after somewhere quiet to take the kids that isn't a soft play, Cheadle Community Library is the one on our radar, a bit out from the centre but worth the trip. It runs regular craft and story sessions, has a baby change and hearing loop, and holds a book festival every August that's worth planning a visit around. There isn't much choice on here yet, so this is really a one-stop option rather than a pick between a few. It suits toddlers through to older kids thanks to the story sessions, and it's free to wander in and browse. Toilets and baby change facilities are on hand, so a longer visit with young children shouldn't be a problem. Check the calendar before you go if the craft sessions are the draw.
