What it’s like

Four different zones, from a sensory room to a calmer corner, built for kids who need options rather than one big frame to climb.

This one splits the visit into zones rather than throwing everything into one room. There's a Small Play Zone for the younger or smaller kids, a Sensory Zone for lights and textures, a Calm Zone if things get a bit much, and an Active Zone for the ones who need to move. Having a Calm Zone at all is the detail that stands out, since most soft play places give you nowhere to retreat to when a session's overwhelming rather than fun.

Booking's required, which is a bit of a faff if you like to just turn up on a whim, but it does mean you're not queueing at the door hoping there's space. The site lists wheelchair access and a café, so you can get a coffee while someone catches their breath in the Calm Zone rather than eating in the car.

There's no age range given. Worth building your visit around the Sensory Zone and Active Zone if your child usually gravitates to one or the other, and using the Calm Zone as the fallback rather than the finale.

Plan your visit

Is there somewhere to get food or a drink?

Is it wheelchair accessible?

It's listed as wheelchair accessible.

What is there actually to do once we're inside?

Four zones: a Small Play Zone, a Sensory Zone, a Calm Zone and an Active Zone, so kids can move between quieter and more physical spaces depending on what they need.
