What it’s like
A leisure centre mixing softplay and sing-alongs, swimming sessions, a sensory room and a junior gym under one roof.
Under-fives get softplay with music and a sing-along, which is really the whole morning sorted if you've got a toddler who needs moving through a few different activities before lunch. Older kids can go swimming, whether that's a family fun session or proper lane swimming, and there are swimming lessons too with progress tracked online so you're not just taking the instructor's word for it.
Emma's Sensory Room is the one worth knowing about if a standard soft play is too much noise and colour for your child. It's a calm, adaptable space with lighting, sound and tactile features you can dial up or down depending on what the day calls for. For the older end there's a Junior Gym for 11 to 12 year olds, and from 13 upwards they get anytime access to the main gym, which is a decent bridge for a teenager who's outgrown the kids' stuff but isn't quite ready for the adult classes.
You don't need a membership to get in. Most things run Pay As You Go, though members get first dibs on booking, up to seven days ahead against five for everyone else. Bookings go through the TW Move app or the website, and turning up on spec is a gamble worth avoiding if you want a particular session. Charleys café does all-day family food, so you can sort lunch without leaving the building, and birthday parties can be built around swimming or the other activities on offer.
ParkingEye operates on site, which just means it's a monitored car park rather than a free-for-all, so don't dawdle if you're on a time-limited stay.
