What it’s like
Indoor airsoft skirmishes for ages 10+ and Nerf battles from age 6, both fully kitted out on arrival.
Two different games under one roof here. The airsoft side is close-quarters combat, guns hired on site and chronographed to 350 fps before anyone plays, and it's aimed at ages 10 and up, with under-14s needing an adult alongside them and under-18s needing a signed parental permission slip. Nerf is the gentler option, open from age 6, and you don't bring your own blaster, they hand you one from their kit so nothing gets mixed up.
Full face protection is compulsory for anyone under 18, and mesh eye protection isn't allowed even if you own some, so don't turn up expecting to use your own gear beyond BBs up to 0.28g. The site is upfront that this isn't a gentle soft-play afternoon: low roofs, uneven floors and the odd BB welt are part of the deal, and they want you in proper boots rather than trainers. That's fair warning rather than a reason to skip it, but it's worth knowing before an eight-year-old who bruises easily gets excited about the airsoft side specifically.
If you want a taste of it without committing, Saturdays run a Call of Duty style session that sounds like the easiest way in. Booking isn't strictly required, they say you can turn up if there's space, but you'd be gambling on a walk-in slot rather than guaranteeing your kid a spin. Birthday parties take 10 to 30 players, Nerf from age 6 or airsoft from 11, and everything's marshalled and provided.
There are only 12 spaces on site, with a pay-and-display car park two minutes' walk away, and it's about ten minutes on foot from Hull Paragon if you're coming by train.

Plan your visit
How old do they need to be?
Airsoft is 10 and up, with under-14s needing an adult with them and under-18s needing a signed permission form. Nerf can be played from age 6.
Do we need to book?
Booking guarantees the right numbers and kit, but you can sometimes turn up and join if there's space. It's not a sure thing though, so don't rely on it for a birthday treat.
Do we need our own gear?
No, you don't need any kit of your own for airsoft, it's all hired on site. Same goes for Nerf, you can't bring your own blasters as they get mixed in with theirs.
What should we wear?
Suitable boots are a must, they warn you could get hurt without them. Full face protection is compulsory for anyone under 18, and mesh eye protection is banned even if it's your own.
Can we book a birthday party?
Parties run for 10 to 30 players, Nerf from age 6 or airsoft from 11, fully marshalled with equipment included.
How do we get there?
There are 12 parking spaces on site plus a pay-and-display car park two minutes away, and it's about a ten minute walk from Hull Paragon station.
