What it’s like
Craft workshops in Cardiff covering cross stitch, crochet and knitting, plus hen parties and baby showers hosted in the studio.
This is a craft studio rather than a shop, and the workshops are the whole point. Cross stitch, crochet and knitting sessions are the three things on offer, so if you've never picked up a hook or needle before, this is where you'd start.
It's open Wednesday to Friday afternoons, then a longer Saturday from 10, and Sunday from 11. That Saturday slot is the obvious one to go for if you want a proper morning-into-afternoon session rather than squeezing it into a weekday lunch hour.
Beyond the regular workshops, they'll host hen parties, birthday parties, baby showers and corporate events, either in the studio or coming to you. A baby shower built around learning to crochet is a nice alternative to the usual games, and a hen do that ends with everyone taking home something they've actually made has more staying power than most.
There's no booking link listed, so you'd need to get in touch directly to sort a session or ask about group events.
