What it’s like
A proper theatre trip for kids from age three, with a restaurant and bar on site if you want to make an evening of it.
This is a theatre, not a soft play, so the deal here is a show and everything around it. Every ticket holder needs to be at least three, and that includes toddlers on a lap, since every seat needs its own ticket. Under-16s need an adult with them at all times, which is fair enough for a building this size.
Doors open 90 minutes before curtain up, and that's your window for the bar, a wander round, or bagging a table at the on-site Studio Five Restaurant if it's open that day (it's shut Mondays and Tuesdays, so don't plan a pre-show dinner then). You can't bring your own food or drink in, and bags get searched at the door, which feels a bit much for a family show but there it is. If you're running late, you might be waiting until the interval to get in, so leave more time than you think you need, especially on an event day when parking near Wembley Park gets scarce and pricier.
Access is straightforward: level entry from the street right into the foyer and the ground floor of the auditorium, two accessible toilets, and an Access Card scheme if you want a discount on tickets. Assistance dogs are welcome, and staff will look after any other dog during the performance, which is a nice touch if you're travelling and can't leave one at home.
Getting there is easy without a car. Wembley Park station is a five-minute walk on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, and there's a run of bus routes within five to ten minutes if you'd rather not deal with the tube with little ones in tow. The cloakroom charges £1 for coats and £3 for bags, and only small bags are allowed into the auditorium itself, so travel light if you can.

Plan your visit
What age can come to a show?
Three and up, no exceptions, and every attendee needs their own ticket and seat. Under-16s must have an adult with them the whole time.
When can we get in?
The venue opens 90 minutes before the performance starts. That's your time for the bar or a bite before you find your seats.
Can we bring snacks or a drink in?
No outside food or drink is allowed in the building. You can bring an empty bottle and fill it with water once you're inside.
Is there somewhere to eat?
Studio Five Restaurant is on site, though it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There's also a bar with drinks and light snacks that opens 90 minutes before the show, and Boxpark with street food is right next door.
Is it accessible for a wheelchair or buggy?
There's level access from the street into the foyer and the ground floor of the auditorium, with two accessible toilets. An Access Card scheme gives discounted tickets too.
What about parking?
There's no parking at the venue itself, just the nearby Wembley Park car parks, and they're not run by the theatre. Prices climb on event days, so factor that in if you're driving.
