What it’s like
Soft play, ride-on toys and a dressing-up shop for under-fives, in timed 1.5 hour sessions with a café table guaranteed for the whole visit.
This one's built for the under-fives and nobody else, which is exactly the point. Ride-on toys, a climbing frame sized for small legs, musical instruments and a dressing-up shop to keep them busy, plus a sensory area for the ones still on all fours. Sessions run for 1.5 hours and are capped at 20 children, so you're not fighting for space or a table.
That café table matters more than it sounds. They guarantee you one for the whole session, and given you can't bring your own food or drink in (water's the only exception), you'll be relying on it. The café does hot and cold drinks, snacks, meals and cakes, with dairy free and gluten free options if you ask.
Book a weekday session and you get free same-day entry to Jigsaw Gyms thrown in, usable before or after your Tiny Tykes slot, right up to 2pm. That's a decent bit of extra value if you fancy stretching the morning out. Weekends are shorter though, sessions only run 9:15am to 12:45pm.
Spaces are limited and they recommend booking ahead rather than turning up on spec. At £6.95 a child (£2.95 for pre-walkers) with adults going in free, it's not a huge outlay for a morning that should tire out a toddler nicely before lunch.
