What it’s like
Multi-level soft play with a big slide, ball pools and a laser games room, plus a disco and karaoke room for when they need a sit down.
There's a proper multi level frame to climb, a big slide, ball pools and a football area, so the main hall keeps most kids busy without you having to referee much. There's a separate baby section too, tucked away from the big frame, which is handy if you've got one small one and one who wants to be up the top of everything. Once the climbing's done there's a laser games room and a disco room with karaoke, which is where you'll lose the older ones for a good while, singing badly into a microphone instead of queuing for the slide again.
The site takes all ages up to 150cm in height, so it's not just toddlers and reception kids, older ones who still fit under that height marker are welcome too. Term time hours run shorter on weekdays, 9:30 to 3:45, with a longer Saturday slot until 4:45 and Sunday running 10 to 3:45. Half term pushes the weekday start back to 10am, with Saturday and Sunday staying the same.
No outside food or drink is allowed in, not even a packed lunch for a fussy toddler, but the on-site café, The Shack, does hot and cold food, milkshakes and a kids menu. You don't have to book to just turn up and play, though booking online secures your session if you're worried about capacity on a busy Saturday.
Parties are where the choice really opens up. A standard party is £13.95 a head with a minimum of 10 kids, karaoke parties are £14.95 a head, and if you want the laser games room to yourselves that starts from £349 (£399 on peak dates including Fridays). Exclusive hire of the whole place starts at £399, rising to £449 at peak times, and runs in two hour slots. The laser parties are capped at 20 guests because of the number of guns they've got, and the standard package is capped at 35 due to the dining room, though you can add extra heads for £8.95 each on exclusive hire.
