What it’s like

A free community gallery in Porth open Saturdays, showing exhibitions and hosting local cultural events and groups.

This is a small exhibition space given over to local exhibitions, cultural events and community groups, rather than a big-name gallery with rope barriers and audio guides. It's free to get in, which makes it an easy one to fold into a Saturday if you're already out that way, without having to plan the whole day around it.

It only opens on Saturdays, 10am to 5pm, or by appointment if you want to visit outside that. There's no booking link, so a Saturday drop-in seems to be the normal way in. Worth knowing there's an early closing on 26th September 2026, down to 3:30pm, if that date happens to line up with your trip.

The building itself is wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet, and there's indoor seating if anyone needs a sit down partway round. It sits just off the Taff Trail, so it works well as a stop if you're cycling that route, and there's free on-street parking locally if you're coming by car. There's a gift shop too, useful for picking up something small on the way out.
