What it’s like

Bottle feed lambs at set times, meet the farm animals, then let them loose on the outdoor play kit.

The lamb feeding is the thing to build the visit round. It only runs from 28 March to 19 April 2026, and it's not a wander-in-whenever job, they run it in set slots (9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm, 4:30pm, plus twilight sessions at 6pm and 8pm), and spaces are limited per session. Turn up at the wrong time outside that window and there won't be a lamb in sight.

Outside of that, it's the usual farm rhythm: meeting the animals, then off to the play areas with their equipment while the grown ups get a coffee. Sessions on the farm run about an hour, which feels about right before anyone starts asking what's next.

It's an outdoor site, weekends only from 9am to 4pm, and general admission is £4. Booking is required, so this isn't one to decide on the morning and just drive to. There's a café on site for the inevitable snack stop, and the twilight lamb sessions are a nice touch if you fancy something a bit different from the standard daytime visit.
