What it’s like
Weekly drama, dance and musical theatre classes for 4 to 18 year olds, with showcases in their own theatre.
This is a proper stage school setup rather than a drop-in session: kids sign up for drama and dance classes, rehearse musical theatre numbers, and get to perform the results in an on-site theatre rather than a school hall with dodgy acoustics. Foundation Dance is the entry point for younger ones, and Musical Theatre Juniors and Seniors step things up as they get older and more committed.
The pricing is per hour rather than per visit, so it adds up like any regular activity would. Foundation Dance is £6.55 an hour, Junior and Senior Musical Theatre sit around £11 an hour, and classes are billed monthly rather than paid for on the day. If your teenager wants a one-off taste rather than a term-long commitment, there's a £15 masterclass for 12 to 18s and a £30 half term workshop for 10 to 18s, which is a decent way to test the water before signing up properly.
Booking runs through their own class management system rather than turning up on spec. There are bursaries and scholarships going for families on lower incomes, which is worth knowing if the monthly fees look steep at first glance.
It's all indoor, there's free parking right outside the door, and access is step free throughout. Parties can also book space here.
