What it’s like
A proper comedy club night out for older kids, with advance tickets from £8 and food at your table if you fancy it.
This is stand-up comedy in a proper club setting, not a kids' show dressed up as one. Under-5s aren't let into some shows, which tells you the material and the room aren't built with toddlers in mind. For a confident ten or twelve-year-old who can sit through a live, unscripted set that might run late, though, it's a different kind of evening out than the usual soft play or cinema trip.
Advance tickets run from £8 for concessions up to £15 for a standard show entry, with a child rate of £10. Turn up on the door without booking and you can sometimes still get in if the show hasn't sold out, but you'll pay more for the privilege, so booking ahead is the sensible move if you know you're going. Shows are live, so timings are a guide rather than a promise. Friday nights tend to wrap up around 10 to 10.30pm and Saturdays a touch earlier, which is worth factoring in if it's a school night.
Food's available at most shows, either pre-ordered through the app beforehand or ordered at your table on the night. The menu runs to things like fish and chips or chicken katsu curry, and a show-plus-food ticket comes in at £26. Worth knowing the kitchen can't guarantee against cross-contamination, so if anyone's got a serious allergy it needs proper thought before you book.
The building itself is step-free with a lift and there's an accessible toilet, but wheelchair spaces are limited and go first come first served, so that's one to sort in advance by phone or email rather than assume it'll be fine on the night. Parking isn't on site, there are two Q-Park options nearby with disabled bays. One flat rule to note: anyone who turns up already intoxicated won't be let in, and there's no refund if that happens.

Do we need to book ahead?
Booking in advance is recommended since shows sell out closer to the date. You can sometimes get in on the door if a show isn't sold out, but door prices are higher.
Is this suitable for young children?
Under-5s aren't admitted to some shows, so it suits older kids who can sit through a live set rather than toddlers.
How long do the shows run?
It varies since the comedy is live and unscripted, but Friday shows generally finish around 10 to 10.30pm and Saturday shows a bit earlier, around 9.45 to 10.15pm.
Can we get food there?
Food's available at most shows, either pre-ordered through the My Glee app at least two hours before doors or ordered at your table on the night. Options include fish and chips and chicken katsu curry.

What if we arrive late?
You're expected to arrive within the entry window on your confirmation. Turn up after that and getting in is down to management's discretion on the night.
