What it’s like
Soft play climbing and slides for babies through to age 12, tucked inside the Jump Xtreme trampoline site in Bolton.
This is the soft play side of the building rather than the trampolines, so don't turn up expecting bouncing included. What you get is a soft play area with climbing structures aimed at anyone from babies up to about 12, which is a wide bracket for one space but it does mean an older sibling isn't stuck standing at the edge bored while the little one has all the fun.
It's open 10am to 6pm every day, though term time it shuts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which catches people out if you're planning a random Tuesday visit in half term thinking it's the same as school holidays. Booking ahead is pushed hard on their site, guaranteeing your slot and saving you queuing at reception, so it's worth sorting before you drive over rather than chancing it on a Saturday.
There are two cafés on site doing the usual burgers, pizza, hotdogs and salads alongside coffee and slushies, so nobody's living on vending machine crisps if you end up staying past lunch. If you're doing a birthday there, the party packages come with a room, food and soft play time built in, and the birthday child gets a membership pass good for up to 12 months afterwards, which is a decent bit of extra value tacked onto the party price.
They say they welcome children with special needs but flag that some sessions get busy enough that they might not suit everyone.
