What it’s like

Jungle-themed soft play with a toddler zone, mini golf next door and an arcade for when they've had enough climbing.

The soft play here is built round multi-level jungle frames, so it suits kids who want to climb and disappear for a bit rather than sit and do a puzzle. There's a separate zone for under-5s, kept apart from the bigger frames, which matters if you've got a toddler who'd otherwise get flattened by a seven-year-old on a mission.

Pricing is set up by age rather than a flat family rate: £4 for 1 to 3 year olds, £6 for 4 plus, and adults get in for £1.20, which is nearly nothing and a nice touch if you were bracing for the usual soft play markup on grown-ups. Soft play and the café run 11am to 6pm every day.

Next door there's Lost Valley Mini Golf and an arcade, and these run on longer, separate hours that stretch into the evening, Friday and Saturday especially. There's a combined golf and play ticket at £10, or £8 for golf on its own, and a family golf ticket at £28 for four, which is worth doing the maths on if you fancy stretching the visit past the soft play into a round of golf once the smaller ones have had their fill of climbing.

The café does freshly prepared food and proper barista coffee rather than just crisps and squash. With ages catered from babies up to 14, older kids get pulled towards the golf and arcade side once the frames start feeling a bit small for them.

Café with freshly prepared food, barista coffee, and treats
  • Adults pay just £1.20 to get in, so it's cheap to bring the whole crew along
  • The golf and arcade side has separate, longer hours to the soft play, running until 9pm or 10pm on Thursday to Saturday
  • A combined golf and play ticket at £10 is worth it if you want both in one visit
  • The under-5s zone is separate from the main frames, which helps if you've got a mixed-age group

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

£4 for 1 to 3 year olds, £6 for 4 plus, and adults get in for £1.20. Golf is £8 on its own or £10 combined with soft play.

What are the opening hours?

Soft play and the café run 11am to 6pm every day. The golf and arcade side stays open later, especially Friday and Saturday nights.

Is it suitable for toddlers?

There's a dedicated zone for under-5s kept separate from the main jungle frames, so babies and toddlers aren't sharing space with the bigger kids.

Do we need to book?

There's no booking link listed, so it looks like a turn up and pay on the day setup.

What's there for older kids?

Once the soft play frames feel too small, there's Lost Valley Mini Golf and an arcade for the 8 to 14 age range.

What food is available?

A café on site does freshly prepared food and barista coffee, so it's a step up from vending machine snacks.

Is there a family deal?

There's a Family of 4 Golf ticket at £28, useful if you're doing the golf side rather than just soft play.

How long do people usually stay?

Soft play sessions run within the 11am to 6pm window, so most visits sit at a couple of hours before food or a switch to the golf side.
