What it’s like

Indoor electric karting on a multi-level circuit, with a Mini Racers option for younger kids who aren't tall enough for the real thing yet.

This is proper racing, not the slow bumper-car version. Karts are electric, the track's multi-level, and once your eight-year-old (with the inside leg and height to match) is strapped in they'll be tearing round corners for real, not just going through the motions. Anyone under 8, or not quite up to the 25-inch inside leg and 1.2 metre height rule, can still get a taste with the Mini Racers experience for 4 to 7 year olds, so nobody has to just stand and watch.

And if they do end up watching, that's fine too. Spectating is free, there's a viewing area with proper views of the track, and you can grab food and drink while you wait rather than hovering by the barrier. Just don't turn up with a packed lunch, they don't allow outside food, and it's card only throughout, so leave the cash at home.

Booking ahead is not optional here. They take full payment when you book to hold your slot, and if you need to change it later there's a fee for that, so it pays to be sure of your time before you commit. Parking's free on site, which softens the blow a bit, and if you're coming by train it's roughly a 20 minute walk from Netherfield or Carlton station.

Wheelchair access covers the pit lane and a dedicated accessible spectator area with track views, though the bar itself isn't accessible. There's an accessible toilet on site too. It runs daily from 9am to 11pm.
