What it’s like
Free contemporary art shows in a small Nottingham gallery, open only when there's an exhibition on.
This is a small contemporary art space rather than a big attraction, so what you get depends entirely on what's hanging on the walls that month. There's no permanent collection and no fixed programme of activities, just whatever exhibition is currently showing, which the gallery changes up periodically.
Entry is free, which makes it an easy one to fold into a wander round town without committing much time or money. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, 12 to 6pm, and Saturday 11am to 5pm, but the gallery only opens its doors when there's actually an exhibition running, so it's not somewhere to rely on being open every week of the year.
There's no booking system in place. A visit here suits a spontaneous stop more than a planned outing, the sort of thing you fit in if you're already in the area and fancy seeing what's on rather than building a whole day around it.

How much does it cost to get in?
Nothing, entry is free.
Do we need to book ahead?
There's no booking link, you just show up when it's open.
What are the opening times?
Tuesday to Friday it runs 12 to 6pm, and Saturday 11am to 5pm.
Is it open all year round?
Only when there's an exhibition on, so it's closed between shows rather than open every week.
