What it’s like
A free city centre gallery showing work from Nottingham's artists, open to over-18s only.
This is an adults-only gallery, so it's not one for bringing the kids along to. The site lists an age rule of 18 and over, and it's a straightforward space for looking at art rather than anything hands-on or interactive.
What you get is a ground floor gallery showing work from Nottingham Society of Artists, with free entry, which makes it an easy one to fold into a wider trip into town without adding to the day's spend. There's no booking system listed.
Being ground floor, it's straightforward for wheelchair users to get round, and parking is the usual city centre mix of on-street spaces and nearby car parks rather than anything dedicated. Give it however long a gallery visit needs for you, this isn't a place with a set route or a big attraction to build a day around, more one to drop into.
