What it’s like
A hall you can hire by the hour for a birthday party or family celebration, kitchen access included.
This is a hire venue rather than a visit-and-play spot: you book the Main Hall for a couple of hours and fill it with whatever the party needs, bouncy castle, disco lights, table and chairs for the cake. Kitchen access comes with the booking, which makes tea urns and buffet plates far less of a faff than lugging your own kettle in.
The rate is £30 an hour before 6pm and £40 an hour after, charged per whole hour or part of one, so it pays to work out roughly how long you'll actually need before you book rather than rounding up out of habit. A 20% deposit locks the date in and it's non-refundable, worth being sure of your plans before you pay it.
Parking on site is tight, just 21 spaces with 2 for blue badge holders, though there's on-street parking nearby if you're arriving in convoy with balloons and a bouncy castle blower. Bike parking is there too if anyone's cycling over.
