What it’s like

A pretend high street for toddlers, with a café, pharmacy, salon and shop to potter round in timed sessions.

This one's built for the very small. Think a miniature high street rather than a soft play frame: a café where they can serve up snacks, a pharmacy called Flo's for playing nurse, a salon for handing out glam makeovers, and a little supermarket called Sprouts and Spencer's for the weekly shop. There's no climbing, no big equipment to queue for, just role play set-ups sized for toddlers who are into pretending rather than jumping off things.

With the age listed as up to 2, this is squarely a toddler visit rather than one you drag an older sibling along to. Sessions run in three timed slots Monday to Saturday, morning through to early afternoon, each about an hour and a half, with gaps between them rather than one long open session. That structure suits a toddler's attention span better than a free-for-all, but it does mean you need to work out which slot fits your nap schedule before you book.

Booking is required, which is worth knowing before you turn up expecting to walk in. Parking is the other thing to plan around: there are only five dedicated spaces for customers, so if you're not early you'll be looking for space on Worsley Road nearby instead.

Being fully indoors, it's a solid option when the weather's against you, and there's no ride list or big-kid distraction to compete with, so a two-year-old gets the run of the place.

Do we need to book?

Yes, booking is required rather than turning up on the day.

How long is a session?

Sessions run in three timed slots each day, roughly an hour and a half each, with gaps between them rather than one continuous play period.
