What it’s like
An outdoor park for skateboards, scooters, inline skates, BMX bikes and parkour, with floodlights running until 10pm.
This is a park built for wheels and jumps rather than swings and slides. Skateboards, scooters, inline skates and BMX free-style bikes all share the same surface, and there's room for parkour too if that's more your kid's thing. It's the sort of place where a confident nine-year-old on a scooter and a teenager practising BMX tricks can both find their own bit of the park to work on.
Younger skaters need an adult keeping an eye on things, and the site is clear that supervision is recommended for anyone under 10. That's worth planning around if you've got a smaller one who wants a go on the ramps rather than just watching from the side.
One rule to know before you turn up: no food, drink or gum allowed on the skate surface itself, so any snacks need to happen off to the side. The floodlights switch off at 10pm, which matters if you're thinking of a late session once the bikes and boards come out after school.
Need to know
- Best for
- Confident skaters and bikers over 10; younger ones need an adult alongside
- No food, drink or gum on the skate surface, keep snacks off to the side
- Under-10s should have an adult with them
- Floodlights end at 10pm, plan evening sessions around that
- It's a shared surface for boards, scooters, skates, bikes and parkour, so it can get busy with mixed activities
Plan your visit
What can you actually do there?
Skateboarding, scooters, inline skating, BMX free-style bikes and parkour all use the same space.
Is it OK for younger kids?
The site recommends adult supervision for skaters under 10, so it's not a drop-off spot for younger ones.
Can you eat while you skate?
No food, drink or gum is allowed on the skate surface itself.
How late can you skate?
The floodlights go off at 10pm, so that's your natural cut-off for an evening session.
