What it’s like
Eight role play zones plus sensory and construction areas for younger kids to dip in and out of all morning or afternoon.
Inside there are eight different role play areas to work through, alongside sensory play spots and a construction zone if your child would rather build than pretend to run a shop. It's the kind of setup where a small one can flit between zones without you having to referee, which is handy on the days you just want to sit with a coffee and watch.
Admission runs £9 a child at weekends and school holidays, dropping to £7 on term time weekdays, and pre-walkers from 6 months get in for £4.50 or £4 off-peak. Extra adults are £2 each. The weekday price is the one to aim for if you can manage it, since £9 for peak times adds up fast if you've got more than one child in tow.
They open every day from 9.30am to 4pm, and there's a café on site doing food, so you don't need to plan around a feed or pack much beyond snacks for the car journey home.
Birthday parties get exclusive use of the place, either 1.5 hours for £180 or 2 hours for £220, both covering up to 20 children with unlimited juice thrown in. Food's £4 a child on top, or you can bring your own, which is a fair bit more flexible than most party venues allow.
