Northern Card Gaming
WHERE
Newtownards
What it’s like
Trading card tournaments, board games and tabletop wargaming events for teens and adults who know their hobby.
This is a spot built around organised play rather than a casual drop-in. What's on offer is trading card game tournaments, including a Northern Ireland open series, alongside board games and tabletop wargaming events.
If your teenager is already into trading card games and wants to test their deck against other players, this is where that happens. It's not the sort of place you wander into on a whim with a younger child looking for something to do for an hour. The events listed are competitive and organised, so it suits someone who already plays and wants a proper tournament, not a first taste of the hobby.
Wargaming and board games sit alongside the card game events, so if your family has more than one tabletop interest there's likely to be something that fits across the calendar rather than in a single visit.
