What it’s like
A soft play frame with twin wavy slides, splat pads and a floor piano, plus a fenced baby area and a café for parents.
Ninety minutes is what you get here, and the equipment list is long enough to fill it: twin wavy slides, dizzy discs, vertical and horizontal rollers, a spider's web, a cargo net and bash bags for the ones who like to launch themselves at things. There's a mini football pitch and a floor piano for a change of pace, and Suzie's House gives the smaller ones somewhere to play kitchens instead of climbing. Under-ones get in for £1.50, which is basically a courtesy fee for taking up floor space, and there's a separate soft play area for babies away from the bigger frame.
The 4ft 5 inch height limit means this is really a job for under-eights, and the site's own age range agrees. Socks are compulsory (no shoes on the equipment) and it's worth putting long sleeves and trousers on your child rather than shorts, since the site recommends it. If you can do a weekday morning in term time, the Toddler Morning slot for under-fours is noticeably cheaper at £6.95, though it disappears in the holidays and on bank holidays.
This isn't a drop-off centre. You stay on site and supervise, and anyone doing the supervising on the frame needs to be over 16, so it's not somewhere to hand off to an older sibling. The café is for adults accompanying a paying child rather than a walk-in space, and outside food is banned apart from birthday cake, baby milk and baby food, which makes sense given they're running the kitchen themselves.
Birthday parties run for two hours with a dedicated host, and prices start from £13.95 in term time, £15.95 to £16.95 for themed parties, or £19.95 for a VIP private slot. There's a minimum of 10 children for standard parties and 20 for VIP, which is a lot to fill if you're planning a small do. Every party comes with a free return pass.
