What it’s like
A late-night Sheffield gig venue with several rooms, tickets from £5 in advance and £8 on the door.
This is a gig venue, not a family attraction, so it's worth being clear-eyed about that before you plan anything around it. The site lists tickets from £5 if you book ahead, rising to £8 on the day, which is a decent nudge to sort your tickets early rather than chance it on the night.
The building has a few different spaces, and that's both the appeal and the catch. Factory and Yard are ground floor and easy to get into, but the Gallery has five steps up and the Basement has ten steps down, so neither of those is accessible if you're pushing a buggy or using a wheelchair. Carers get in free with evidence at the box office, which is a fair way to handle it.
Opening hours run late. Tuesday and Wednesday it's open till 11pm, Thursday till 1am, and Friday and Saturday push on to 3am, with Saturday opening earliest at 3pm. None of that screams toddler bedtime, so this one's really for parents planning a night out rather than a day out with the kids in tow.
Parking on the street is free after 8:30pm, and there are pay and display car parks nearby on Matilda Street and Arundel Street if you're arriving earlier. There's a disabled bay about 73 metres away on Newton Lane.
