What it’s like

A late-night venue on West Street that opens into the small hours, not somewhere you'd take the kids.

This one's a straightforward miss for a family day out. Look at the opening hours and it tells you everything: doors from four on a Saturday, but everything else starts at seven or eight in the evening and runs until four in the morning. That's a club and gig venue timetable, not a soft play or a farm park.

There's nothing in what they publish about age limits, food, or anything you'd need for a visit with children. Given the hours alone, that's not really a surprise. Venues built around late evening music and dancing don't tend to bother with a kids' menu or a buggy park.

If you're after live music with your children, this isn't the venue to bookmark. Worth keeping on your radar for a night out once you've got a babysitter sorted, but not for a Tuesday afternoon with a toddler in tow.

Plan your visit

What time does it open?

Depends on the day. Saturdays it's from 4pm, Sundays from 10pm, and Monday to Friday it opens somewhere between 7 and 8 in the evening.

Is this suitable for kids?

The hours say it all really, most nights it doesn't open until well after a young child's bedtime and runs until 4am.

Do we need to book ahead?

There's no booking link listed, so it looks like a turn-up venue rather than one where you reserve a slot.

What are the opening hours across the week?

Sunday 10pm to 4am, Monday to Thursday 8pm to 4am, Friday 7pm to 4am, Saturday 4pm to 4am.
