What it’s like
A two-hour clay taster where you hand-build a bowl or vase, no wheel skills needed.
This is hand-building, not wheel throwing, so you're working the clay with your hands into textured bowls, small vases, leaf wall art or a fruit basket. The taster workshop runs two hours and gives you a proper go at the technique rather than a rushed five-minute dabble.
£40 for the taster is a fair chunk for one session, and if you get the bug there's a four-class Creative Workshop for £100, which works out cheaper per session if you know you'll want more than one go. Sessions only run Tuesday and Thursday, mornings 10 to 12 or evenings 7 to 9.
Booking is required and there's no online link listed. They also do bespoke ceramic sessions for birthdays, hen parties, Mother's Day or baby showers, tailored to whoever's in the group, which makes it a decent shout for a small celebration rather than a normal soft-play party.
